Cancer
Description
Cancer is a group of diseases characterized by uncontrolled cell growth and spread to other parts of the body. There are many types of cancer, including breast, lung, prostate, and colon cancer, among others. Cancer occurs when genetic mutations allow cells to grow uncontrollably, forming tumors or invading surrounding tissues. Symptoms depend on the type and location of the cancer, but common signs include unexplained weight loss, fatigue, and changes in skin or bowel habits. Treatment includes surgery, chemotherapy, radiation therapy, immunotherapy, and targeted therapy.
